HealthTech Ireland are very proud to share that our CEO, Susan Treacy, has been named Winner of the Women in STEM Award in Health Technology category at the Business Post Women in STEM Awards 2025, held last week at the Mansion House.

Since stepping into the role in 2021, Susan has led HealthTech Ireland through a period of strategic transformation. Under her leadership, a ground breaking Memorandum of Understanding with the HSE was delivered, an internationally unprecedented agreement between an industry association and a public healthcare system. This milestone has since evolved into the National Health Collaboration Council, supported by senior leaders across the sector.

Susan’s impact continues through her role as the only industry representative on the HSE AI Implementation Group, and her contributions to HIQA – Health Information and Quality Authority working groups on HTA and AI.

These positions reflect her trusted voice in shaping the future of digital health in Ireland and ensuring industry perspectives are embedded in national strategy.

This award recognises Susan’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and strategic leadership. Critically, it highlights the importance of the advancement and value of health technology products, solutions and services as key to delivering both for patients and as a critical sector of the Irish economy.

The HealthTech Ireland team would like to thank the Women in STEM Summit & Awards team for a wonderful evening, celebrating inspiring women and the amazing impacts achieved throughout the year.
